Miami Shopping Guide By Style Doctors

Who better to give a the low-down on the best shopping areas in Miami than someone who visits these areas daily – a Style Doctors personal stylist! The friendly and knowledgeable Miami based Paige shares her Miami shopping guide with us.

Usually most famous for it’s beaches and all year round good weather, Miami is now making a mark on the style scene with malls and shopping areas across the city – making this one of the most fun and diverse places to shop in the world. Whether you prefer air conditioned shopping or shopping outdoors, there’s something for everyone in Miami.

Lincoln Road Mall

Lincoln Road Mall is located near South Beach and all the shops are outdoors. Shopping outdoors at this mall gives you the real vibe of what it’s like to be in Miami. It’s a strip of stores on both sides of the street and you will see stores like American Eagle, Banana Republic, H&M, and Aldo and a variety of restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops.

The Lincoln Road Mall—or, in local shorthand, “Lincoln Road”—had its heyday in the 1950s, when it was designed by iconic architectural guru Morris Lapidus and dubbed the “Fifth Avenue of the South.”

Stylist Tip:

It’s wall-to-wall sidewalk cafés, boutiques, high-end retail shops, restaurants, cultural venues and galleries making this the perfect place to meet friends to do some shopping and dining.

On styling appointments Paige will take her clients to any of the shopping areas in Miami based on their style brief and requirements.

“What I love about Miami is the variety of shopping areas we have here. From shopping outdoors at Bal Harbor to spending a full day shopping in Aventura Mall, there’s so many great options when going shopping. Having the variety of locations helps me as a stylist as it means I can choose the best area for my clients depending on their needs”.
